Manku Kapak Discography

Manku Kapak were a great 90ish emo band from Bremen in Northern Germany (2009-2015). A three piece that always played their heart out in honest and true lyrics that hit home paired with the bleak beauty of fragile guitar sounds that meet with heavy riffs. Get all their stuff on their website or from the links below.

Sneeze Discography

less screamo but still one of my current favs. A similar energy to L'antientam but grunge. Check it if you ever wanted to scream "you look so goddamn lovely"

The Best Algernon Cadwallader Cover

Just a video of a cover today. I'm trying to post every day to stuff that has been dancing around my head and I guess this song is all that's there. It's the song Spit Fountain by Algernon Cadwallader but composed by Austin Dunn with LSDj on the gameboy. It really got a smile outta me

Lautrec

Truly unlike any band I've ever heard but capturing the sound and energy from the particular time and place of Chicago circa 2008. All the screams sound desperate, the drumming frantic, riffs for days. Future members of Lord Snow and Coping. Remember what it was like being packed into a basement with a bunch of sweat being mixed between a dozen people? Me either but listening to this is the closest you can get right now.

Palmkite Discography

classic, old-school, whiny-voice-clean-guitar-open-tuning emo. they released a decent amount of music before they broke up, and it's all good. i was never too much into this band, but if you like '90s midwest emo you'll definitely be into these dudes. some of their lyrics were great - "but we found that looking back, we couldn't tell which steps we took in which direction, and every piece of evidence is pointing to the idea that i'm under the influence of something that i found in your embrace". come on. if you don't like that you don't like emo.

Lion Of The North

Ah my favorite kind of band. Exist for only one year and put out almost no material and still lingering with me for over a decade. Vocals from future Grown Ups singer, shredding by future Antilles member, La dispute vibes. Check it
